Folkston is located 25 miles west of I-95. Just north of the Georgia/Florida state line, at Exit 3, take Route 40 west through Kingsland until it dead ends in Folkston. At the dead end, take a right and then an immediate left in front of the courthouse. This is Main Street. Go through town, cross the railroad tracks to the light at Okefenokee Parkway. Continue on Main Street one and a half blocks past the light to the inn on your left. Pull into the parking lot just at the end of the long white fence.

From Waycross, Jesup or Jacksonville via Route 1/23/301, turn at the second light going west, which is Main Street. Go through the business district, cross the railroad tracks to the light at Okefenokee Parkway. Continue on Main Street one and a half blocks past the light to the inn on your left. Pull into the parking lot just at the end of the long white fence.

When driving north from Jacksonville on I-95, the Georgia Visitor Center is just across the state line, where further information and directions are available.

Folkston is only a 35-minute drive from the Jacksonville International Airport via Route 1/23 through Callahan. Shortly after exiting the airport parking area, and just after you pass the Clarion Hotel on the left, make a right on Pecan Park Road and go one mile. Turn right on Terrell Road, which is just at the end of the barbed wire fence surrounding the air field. Go two miles on Terrell Road to Highway 115 and turn right. Travel 10 miles to Callahan and the intersection of Route 1/23. Turn right on Route 1/23. Travel 20 miles through Callahan and Hilliard. Cross the St. Marys River and enter Georgia. Travel four miles to Folkston. Turn left at the second light, which is Main Street. Go through town, cross the railroad tracks to the light at Okefenokee Parkway. Continue on Main Street one and a half blocks past the light to the inn on your left. Pull into the parking lot just at the end of the long white fence.

Alternately, you can take I-95, which is 10 minutes longer driving time. Follow the airport signs to I-95 and take I-95 North.
