Pet Friendly - Family Wildlife Room

The Inn at Folkston realizes that our pets are like family, and more travelers are bringing their pets along for an adventure and companionship. We also realize that boarding pets is expensive and that the presence of a human companion is not offered twenty-four hours a day.

The Inn at Folkston has designated one room only as pet-friendly. The Family Wildlife room is just that, a room for our furry family members to share and enjoy. It consists of a queen and a full-size bed and easily sleeps four adults. This room also has French doors to access the backyard for pet potty breaks.

ALL RESERVATIONS THAT INCLUDE PETS MUST BE MADE BY PHONE.

AGREEMENT

The Inn at Folkston accepts guests traveling with their dogs under the following conditions:

The Inn at Folkston has final say as to whether a pet may remain with its owner(s) during an owner's stay. Forfeiture of any deposit or payment may occur.
Animals with any history of inflicting injury on humans or animals are not permitted on the premises.
All pets are required to be up to date on all veterinary-recommended vaccines.
All pets are required to be healthy unless they are under current veterinary treatment.
All pets are required to be free of fleas and ticks. Bathing of the pet should occur before arrival. No bathing is allowed on the premises.
All pets shall be crated in the absence of their owner or caregiver.
Pets will not be allowed to sleep or rest on furnishings or on guests' beds. A separate bed will be provided for pets.
A designated area will be used for the bathroom needs of pets. All pet waste is to be bagged and disposed of in a designated receptacle.
Owners of pets will be responsible for maintaining a quiet environment as a courtesy for other guests. Excessive barking will require the pet to be removed from the premises and placed in a boarding facility. Pet owners may be subject to the loss of any deposit or payment.
Pets will remain inside the Family Wildlife room at all times unless outdoors with their owner.
All pets will remain on leashes when outside on the Inn property.
All guests with pets will enter the rear French doors accessing the Family Wildlife room upon arrival. No pets are allowed on the front porch, nor may they enter the Inn from the front door unless they are crated and carried by their owner.
An additional fee will apply for each pet to cover the cost for deep cleaning of the room after the departure of the guest.
The maximum number of pets is two (2); however, the Inn at Folkston may limit this number according to the size of each pet.
Pets other than dogs may be considered on an individual basis. No cats are allowed.
Pet owners will be responsible for feeding, watering, and caring for their pets. The Inn at Folkston does not provide "pet sitting" services.
Crates may be provided for an additional fee if requested by owners.
Any damage attributable to a pet may be subject to an additional fee.
